I’ve been told I have a male brain and I can’t see the point of weddings. I asked in the wedding section if I was the only one who doesn’t care about weddings and all these answerers who seemed like mostly women (you can’t really tell for sure online) were getting offended and saying I must be bitter or whatever. I just don’t get spending that much money on a lame party when you could spend it on your honeymoon instead. I also happen to think wedding dresses are hideous.
I don’t think marriage is stupid just the dumb expensive ceremony.
Do men care about weddings other than for making the woman happy?

My fiance and are are going to have our engagement pictures soon. Some of them will be taken on the beach, and others in a wooded park area, maybe some other places, but we aren’t sure yet. We plan on changing outfits at least two times.

I can’t shake it for some reason. I’m premed and I don’t plan to get married until I’m at least 28 so that might explain it a bit, but even the thought that my parents got married at my age now (19) and had me seems so weird to me. Especially when I hear about kids who I graduated with a few months ago getting married . . Is this just me?
