My friend’s fiance is filing for her with a fiance visa; which should come through in three months. They want to get married at a court house in the U.S. and then return to our country for an official wedding ceremony soon after. Is it possible for my friend to travel right after getting married in the U.S. on a fiance visa?

I am gettin married in august and we are deciding on time for the wedding. It is a an ocean front beach resort and we were thinking o having the wedding around 10 or 11 am then having a plated lunch at the reception. It will be on a Sunday as well. What are your opinions on day weddings bs night weddings?
My girlfriend and I will be getting married in six months.

They’re obsessed with them. There is absolutely no sense in it. What is the point in weddings? What is so special about them? It’s just a pageant.
Can somebody please tell me why otherwise intelligent women become so crazy over these things?
