I’m getting married in April of 2012. And We are looking for a beautiful ceremony site in Kentwood or Grand Rapids, Michigan. And We are having issues finding a great site at cheap price. Our reception is going to be at Branns Banquet Hall on Division.

Hi, All! I’m trying to get established (again) as a guitarist/singer for various events such as weddings, social club meetings, etc. Does anyone have an idea of what one charges for this type of thing? For example, doing a few songs as part of a wedding…what’s the fee? Playing 45 – 60 minutes for a business women’s group…what’s the fee?
I hope to get up and running soon but, as noted, I have NO idea what the going rate is for such things. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. THANKS!!!
Is getting married in college a bad idea?

My boyfriend (soon to be fiance) and I are planning on getting married next summer. The thing is, though, that we are both still in college. When we are married, I will be a junior and he will be a senior. Is it financially ok to do? Or should we wait?
Also, his sister and brother in law got married at the exact same time and it worked out fine. So I guess that gives us more of a hope to make it?
My dad recently passed away and I found great comfort in looking at all his old photos. He used to play in a band in Manchester called The Thin Red Line. They were primarily a Shadows cover band but he used to tell me he played many weddings in Manchester.
I thought it might be worthwhile using his old diaries to find which weddings he played at and then contact the people who got married to see if they had any photos of the wedding band. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

Is it normal for a teenage girl to be very concerned about getting married or finding the right man?

My daughter is 17 and she is very concerned about getting married. She has told me that getting married is one of her goals but that she is worried she will never find a man who wants to marry her. I told her not to worry about that right now and to concentrate on school and college because she has plenty of time to get married, but she seems to think she is running out of time. Is this normal?
When did the betrothal take place? Was it the day before along with the feast, sacrifices etc?
Having a baby means you are keeping the baby and raising it to be a product member of society, and getting married means being faithful and not getting divorced (staying true to your marriage vows). Given these definitions, which require more responsibility and maturity?
